Christmas Tree Cookies

(makes about 6 dozen cookies)

Pre-heat oven to 375F.

Beat together:
600g sugar
2 sticks butter
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp almond extract

Beat in one at a time:
3 eggs
green food coloring

Combine in a separate bowl:
625g flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Add dry to wet and beat until mixed.

Add to make a moderately stiff dough:
313g flour

Chill for easier handling.

Roll and cut dough with christmas tree cutter.

Bake at 375F for 10-11 minutes, if they brown it’s been too long. Cool on a wire rack.

Melt white chocolate and dip the edges of the trees to look like snow.
